Does Blinkpal have a camera?
No. There is no camera anywhere in it. The eyes are LED lights behind clear domes, so there is nothing to see you with.
What does the microphone hear?
It listens after you press its button or say its wake word. What you say then goes to the app’s AI service to get an answer, the same way a voice assistant works. It is not a recording device and has no memory card.
Where is the AI?
In the cloud, through the free Tuya / Smart Life app on your phone. That is why it needs Wi-Fi to talk. Without Wi-Fi it can’t chat.
Will it work on my Wi-Fi?
It needs a 2.4 GHz network. Most home routers have one. If yours shows only 5 GHz, switch on the 2.4 GHz band in the router’s app first.
Can people see when it’s recording?
Yes. A light on the front shows when it’s recording. Film your own point of view and respect other people’s privacy, and check local rules before recording audio.
When will it arrive?
We pack it in 1-2 business days. Delivery takes 7 to 15 business days after that, tracked, and you see the dates before you pay. US shipping is $6.95, free over €119. Europe is $9.95, free over $149. Order by Nov 30 for Christmas delivery in the US, by Nov 26 in Europe.
Returns?
30 days from delivery. Send it back unused in its box and we refund you. Return shipping is on you, and we say so here instead of in small print. If it arrives broken or stops working, that’s on us: a prepaid label or a new one.
Can I send it as a gift?
Yes. Switch on Gift box + note in the cart and write the note there; the box is free with 3 Blinkpals. Switch on “Hide prices on the packing slip” and the paper in the box shows no prices.
10% off your first order.
One email when something's worth telling you: new characters, restocks, real dates for Christmas.
